Domestic abuse awareness and training for workplaces and professionals
Safe Haven Education helps organisations, professionals and students recognise and respond to domestic abuse, with a focus on the non-violent forms that are often missed.

Our work centres on coercive control, economic abuse and post-separation abuse. We provide survivor-led, trauma-informed training that builds confidence, improves safeguarding practice and supports safer responses in professional settings.

We work across the public sector, private sector and higher education to raise awareness, strengthen understanding and prevent harm.

Why this matters

Domestic abuse does not stop at the workplace door.Coercive and controlling behaviour is frequently misunderstood or minimised as a “toxic relationship”. This leads to missed warning signs, unsafe responses and ongoing harm for victim-survivors.Many professionals want to help but lack the clarity and confidence to recognise patterns of abuse and respond appropriately.
Safe Haven Education exists to close that gap.
Who we work with
Private sector
Employers, HR teams and wellbeing leads with a duty of care to their staff.

Public sector

Survivor-led and trauma-informed
